The joint training by Chinese and British universities aims to cultivate students with reliable and effective theoretical knowledge and skills, as well as medical humanistic spirit and professional dedication. Graduates are expected to be capable of educating patients and the public about relevant rehabilitation knowledge. They should be competent in providing rehabilitation treatment services, education, scientific research, and management in various levels and types of medical institutions, specialized rehabilitation institutions, and health care and elderly care organizations. The goal is to develop internationally competitive and highly qualified composite applied talents with comprehensive development.

Core Courses: Applied Anatomy, Physiology and Exercise Science, Principles of Rehabilitation, Rehabilitation Evaluation and Treatment, Sports Science for Professionals, Research and Clinical Internship, Comprehensive Rehabilitation Strategies, Principles of Rehabilitation Training, Global Health Care Issues, etc.

Employment Prospects: Graduates can work in the rehabilitation departments (including departments, wards, and outpatient clinics) of various hospitals, including community hospitals, children's hospitals, and specialized rehabilitation hospitals, as well as nursing homes, sports teams, international rehabilitation centers and other social organizations. Students can also pursue a master's degree in related disciplines of rehabilitation therapy both domestically and internationally.
